Stevens Point is a favorite spot for outdoor recreation. There is plenty of kayaking on the Plover and Wisconsin Rivers. Head to Iverson Park for hiking (or sledding in the winter) and swimming at the beach and see Schmeeckle Reserve to hike among the wildlife. Both parks also offer great kayaking.
